Respite and Intermediate Care
Burrow Down Cottages comprise of two buildings; the Cottage
(pictured right) and the Lodge (pictures left). They are small
registered homes set in the grounds of Burrow Down Support
Services Ltd. Burrow Down Cottages provide care and support for
six adults with learning disabilities on a short term
basis.


Sandy Allery is
the registered manager of Burrow Down Support Services Ltd. She
is qualified to NVQ level 4 - Registered Manager's Award.
Sandy has over 25 years experience in working with people with
learning disabilities and seven years experience managing the
services provided at Horizons Day Opportunities.
Louise Cousins
is the responsible person for Burrow Down Support Services
Ltd.
Louise also has
over 25 years experience in managing residential homes and
equivalent qualifications to NVQ 4 Management.

Burrow Down Cottages share 5 acres of beautiful grounds with Horizons Day Opportunities and Burrow Down Residential.
Many animals are kept within the grounds - ducks, goats, pigs, chickens and rabbits. Service users have the opportunity to tend to the animals as part of the day service activities during the week.
